ASSISTments Lingo

  • An "Assistment" is a question and its associated feedback.
  • A "Problem Set" is a grouping of assistments. See the different types of problem sets
  • A "Scaffold" is the tutoring for an assistment that "breaks the problem into steps" for the student.
  • A "Bottom Out Hint" is the hint on an assistment that gives the answer to a question.
