Build your homework online with ASSISTments!!
Our research has shown that students learn substantially more when they get answer feedback on their homework and even more when they get tutoring. Now you can make this a reality by joining other teachers in a collaborative effort to put all the homework from your textbook online.
The list of books here are texts where teachers working with the WPI Reforming Schools with Data Collaborative are putting the answers from their textbooks online using ASSISTments.
If you see your textbook here, follow these steps to begin a collaboration with other teachers. If you don't see your textbook here, contact Cristina Heffernan ch@wpi.edu and she will set you up to start your own group building homework from your textbook online.
- Join the google group for your textbook, Cristina Heffernan will need to approve your membership.
- Check out the current progress made by reviewing the WIKI page for your book. Since this is a collaborative, different books are at different places in their progress of getting the homework online.
- Request permission to login to the ASSISTments account that allows you to build and edit all of the ASSISTments built for that book. Once again this is for trusted members who will be careful to only make minor fixes, unless the whole group agrees, or make a copy before making major changes and recording that work on the WiKI Page.
