To 8th grade pattern finding involves simple geometric and arithmetic sequences.

Pattersn like 2,4,8,16 (adding 2,6,18,54 (going uop by multipling by 3)

2,4,8,10 is a artmtics secunce but its of the simplest types in that the amount it is going up by is a linear function so this is not something that qualifes for mastery.
