This is the account signup page, where you can register as an ASSISTment user. ASSISTment is completely free, so all you have to do is fill out this page and you are ready to go!
Note: The ASSISTment team does not share your personal information and usage data with anyone. We do, however, use it to conduct research on learning science in an effort to improve the site and student learning in general. This research data is anonymized so as to be non-identifying. We appreciate your cooperation and your contribution to the learning sciences.
If you already have an account, click on the Log In link at the top of the page to log in.
The first thing you need to do is select your user role from the drop-down box next to "I am a..." If you are a student, select Student, and if you are a teacher, select Teacher. Teachers are automatically granted the Content Creator role, which allows them to create their own math content, so only select Content Creator if you are exclusively using the system to build problem sets.
Note: If you are a parent, you cannot sign up at this page--you need to wait until you receive an e-mail from your student's teacher that will contain a special signup link. You will only receive this e-mail if the teacher is participating in the Parent Notification feature, which is still currently being piloted. If your teacher is participating, your student will need to enter your email into his or her account settings under "Parent E-mail", and your teacher will need to approve it before you receive this signup link. If you are a school or district administrator, currently you need someone from WPI to grant you one of these special administrative roles.
